General Assembly '07

When: July 21 - 25
Where: Fort Worth, TX
Registration Fee: $95 (The pre-Assembly registration is $25)

Description: There will be many events/workshops put on by the Young Adult Commission. Including a Pre-Assembly event beginning on the 20th. The pre-assembly includes worship, study, and mission work. The young adults whom go to the assembly are great and fun people. If you don't feel empowered, inspired, or in awe after going to General Assembly, nothing will make you feel so.

Fundraising: If you do wish to go, please contact us and we will help you out financially.

Camp Crystal Work Week

When: August 5 - 11
Where: Camp Crystal @ Frankfort, MI

Who: Open to youth and adults grades 9 - age 115.
(Youth should have completed 9th grade)

Work: We will be assisting the elderly and low income residents in the Benzie County area with home repair and rehabilitation. Working with the residents of the area and opening up the space at camp for them to come, worship and rest. We will focus on building relations with the community gathered and God by striving to be God's “Hands and Feet” in mission.

This camp is designed to be an Intergenerational Experience. We need adults, young adults and youth, working side by side, in relationship, learning with and from one another for the benefit of others in community. Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by adults with there being one adult for every 7 youth.

You will be hearing much more about this experience in the coming months. Please consider this local opportunity when looking at work camps.
